Angels right-hander Matt Harvey sidelined 10 days with glute strain

TEMPE, Ariz. — Los Angeles Angels appropriate-hander Matt Harvey will be sidelined about 10 times due to the fact of a glute strain he felt during agility drills.

Harvey signed a one-calendar year, $11 million offer with the Angels in December, hunting to bounce back again immediately after past time. He went 7-9 with a 4.94 Period in 32 games (28 begins) with the Mets and Reds past calendar year.

Angels supervisor Brad Ausmus claimed Thursday that Harvey would miss a bare minimum of a 7 days and a fifty percent.

“You can recover from a 7 days and a fifty percent,” Ausmus claimed. “It depends on how he feels when we re-appraise him and how he feels and how promptly he can get back again on the mound and what he is completed in the interim. He can recover from that.”
